Every furniture maker should make at least one farm style dining table and benches. When I was asked to make this dining set, I knew it would be a great opportunity to try my hand at some classic techniques so I went for it. And…doing simple well can be quite a challenge.

Made entirely of red oak this was a joy to make. I think the design elements that the client and I came up with turned out to be quite charming for a classic American farm table. Curly figure in the breadboard ends and a white wash finish on the tables legs and aprons.
